The Great Seattle Wheel! For those of you who haven't heard, Seattle just opened a brand new ferris wheel on the waterfront! Go check it out, it's pretty! (The ride is less than exciting though. Spend your $15 on something else at the waterfront).

Marina (my super awesome co-worker) and I went to a new little frozen yogurt shop a few blocks from our office today. It was the perfect sunny day to go for a walk. It's very pink inside the shop! It's free slurpee day at 7-11!!! Marina and I went during a break at work and got our free slurpees. I had this great photo of us holding up our free slurpees while in 7-11. When I went to upload the photo, somehow I accidentally deleted it. I'm super bummed. So, I stole this photo from Google so that I could have a photo for today.

Lauren came to visit me! We went out for Mexican food (like we always do!) and then I took her to my favorite place along the lake.

JULY!!!

I can't believe I made it to July with photo of the day. It hasn't been an easy task, but it has been fun. I think by now all my friends are used hearing, "Oh, wait let me get my camera...I still need a photo for today!" This batch isn't the highest quality, as many of these are ipod photos. But hey, I don't always have my camera on me and have to make do with what I've got. Here's to month #7 of this little adventure...

I found this recipe on Pinterest (surprised? you shouldn't be). It's macaroni and cheese with spinach, all mixed together and baked in a muffin pan. They were delicious!

Color time! Hannah cut my hair the other day, and today she put some color in. It isn't a huge change, but it is enough to notice (just what I wanted). I love it. Thanks Hannah!

Rotary cutter...an amazing little tool that changed my life. I cut out all these pieces for my quilt in about an hour. WAY less time than the last quilt I did!

Second day of wedding festivities: assembling programs! We had a bunch of people working on them and it went really fast. I also got to know Lauren's aunts and cousins today...what a fun family!

This morning I pulled the blinds apart to see if it was raining outside...I couldn't see outside because something was blocking my window. I pulled the blinds all the way open and found this huge sign taped to the outside of my window! What a great way to start my morning!

Lydia Place is a small non-profit in Bellingham that I interned with for three quarters. I also volunteered there and even worked there for a few months. I love LP! When I heard that they needed volunteers to help with their spring dinner/auction, I was all over it. This is me with one of my fantastic supervisors, Ashley.

Today my best friend wore a black gown. Next Saturday she will wear a white one. So many exciting things happening in her life, I am so glad I get to be a part of all of it.
