25-28

#25. I made these memory game/matching game tiles for a friend's baby's 1st birthday. Another friend gave me the idea and I love how it turned out! (see photo 28 for the adorable birthday boy who received these)

#26. I've been getting this message for weeks now and I'm getting very irritated. My Nikon is out of commission. I know what the problem is and have tried to fix it, but to no avail. Either a repair or a new camera is in the future...

#27. Stacy and I love going to Chopstix! It's a dueling piano bar and it is a blast. The one we have been going to is in Tacoma, but with my upcoming move, we won't be able to keep going there. We decided we should head down there for one last hurrah before I move. If you haven't been to Chopstix, you need to check it out!

#28. Happy 1st Birthday Hunter!!! Here is me and the clothes-less birthday boy. We took a few photos and couldn't get him to look at the camera, but hey, he's still cute anyway.

18-24

#18. We woke up to 6 inches of snow! The only logical thing to do was get out the three-wheeler and tie an inner tube to the back. We were able to go up and down the main streets around our house because there was so much snow and so few cars!

#19. After the snow hit, the ice hit. We got a total of almost an inch of ice by the time the freezing rain stopped falling.

#20. Some perspective on how thick the ice was!

#21. Homemade enchiladas for dinner :)

#22. Game night! Well, it seems that more nights than not end up being game night lately. What can I say? I love games.

#23. Oh look...another game! My brother got Trailer Park Wars in a Christmas gift exchange. Before you pass any judgement, I think you should play it yourself. Once we figured out how to play, it was actually very fun...and funny! The main goal is to collect as many of the pink flamingos as possible.

#24. My second day of work and they already have my name outside the door! My supervisor told me that now I am legit. Good to know. (ignore the blurry photo...taken with my ipod)

#14. Good Movie

#15. Our first bit of snow fell today! We got much more the next day though (that's when the video was taken)

#16. It was pretty cold this morning when I went out to my car!

#17. Some fun things to add to my travel pages in my scrapbook

First Snow!

Facebook wouldn't allow me to post this because it had a song owned by a third party in it...so here it is for all of you to see! We've got about an inch and a half so far, and it's supposed to keep coming for a few more days.

Exciting news in photo of the day!

#9. A book I've been reading recently...very good!

#10. I've made a few trips to JoAnn's this week as I am in the middle of a few different projects right now.

#11. First Passion Tea Lemonade of the year :)

#12. Working on one of my projects...

#13. When I took this photo today I had no idea that I'd be seeing a lot more of this sign. This is the sign in the parking lot at the Everett Catholic Community Services office. I was there for a second interview today and thought it would make a good photo of the day. Later in the afternoon they called and offered me a full time job! I am the newest case manager for the chronically homeless program at CCS. 56 job applications, 10 interviews, and a little over three months...and viola! I have a job! I actually had 2 job offers today, but this was the first and the better of the two options. I start this coming Wednesday. Praise God!

Jumping on the Bandwagon - A Photo A Day

I've seen a lot of people lately doing the "photo a day for a year" thing. Some family friends of mine have two of the most adorable little girls (yes, you know who you are!) and I absolutely loved seeing every photo of them and all their adventures last year. I decided that this could be a fun thing to try. It's only day 4 and I have found it to be challenging to remember each day. I have a new appreciation for the dedication that this busy mom put into her project of a photo a day for a year! You are awesome!

So here it goes...my attempt at taking a photo every single day for 365 days in a row. Wait, is this year a leap year? Shoot...366 days. I forgot my camera on one occasion already and so a cell phone picture was the only option.

Enjoy!

#1. My dad's New Year's Day tradition is going out on the boat every year. This year we had a beautiful sunny day on Lake Sammamish.

#2. We decided to go bowling for the afternoon.

#3. I made a potato soup recipe that I found on Pinterest. Turned out to be very thick, almost like a potato chowder. It was delicious!

#4. When I woke up and came downstairs for breakfast I found some pink in the sky. Went back upstairs to grab my camera and had my photo of the day before I even ate breakfast!
